Tractor Supply x Director Andrew White

This project is a true creative collaboration. When Farmuse Production and Confidant Agency reached out to Andrew, the scripts were still loose. They were looking for a director to shoot a 30-second broadcast spot showing a full-energy day for dogs on the farm.

 

“Cosmically, when I first read their email, I was sitting in a John Deere tractor at my family farm, with my black lab in tow. I replied, ‘Yeah, I have some ideas!’”

 

Andrew worked closely with the creative team, drawing on his own experiences on his family farm. He pitched ideas that felt authentic to farm life, fast-paced to highlight the high-performance dog food, but never staged or fake.

 

The shoot spanned rural Tennessee, with one day in the store, one day on location, and a pickup day for the dock scene, capturing both video and stills.

 

“It's always cool to direct a spot that’s going to broadcast, but I was blown away when I started getting texts from friends who saw it during the Super Bowl!”
